Painting with the Path Tool
You use the Path tool to draw regions of interest that consist of single lines set at a specific diameter. The advantage of using this tool instead of working in Brush mode is the smooth curves that are created.
- Select the required 2D view.
- Select Single slice or Multi-slice mode (see ROI Painter Tool Settings).
- Click the Path
tool.
- If required, adjust the diameter of the line that will be converted to labeled pixels with the Pixels slider.

- Do the following:
- Hold down Left Ctrl (or your configured Add with key) and then drag to draw the line you want to convert to a region of interest.
- Hold down Left Shift (or your configured Remove with key) and then draw a line on the labeled pixels of a region of interest to remove them.
Note Refer to Configured Actions for the Path Tool for additional information about the configured actions for the Path tool.
